Marcy and son Craig’s commitment to their vineyard never waivers – their vision is perhaps the mostsingle-minded of any of Tandem’s growers. They never rest in their continual improvements to what is already a winemaker’s dream: a distinct vineyard voice that, with each year, gives a clarion call to its terroir.Though Marcy has now reached “rock star” status in the viticultural world, with some of the biggestnames in Pinot and Chardonnay, she honors her roots and Tandem by continuing their relationship.
Tasting notes: Tandem truly sees the voice of the vineyard speak out in this vineyard designate, yearafter-year. The exotic spice notes are perhaps the most pure Tandem has yet seen them in the aroma, with thestrong acid backbone that is now trademark Keefer, setting the tempo on the palate. This is a true coolclimatePinot, with notes of cranberries and redfruit more prominent in the late palate than we have everseen before, yet still speaking distinctly of the Keefer Ranch.
