Abundance and quality were left unaffected for this 1998 harvest. 15 grands crus and 3 grape varieties (48% chardonnay, 48% pinot noir and 4% pinot meunier) make up this finely balanced blend left to mature in for more than 5 years.An amazing ballet of bubbles with intimate notes of citrus peel, exhales a flowery bouquet upon a twirl, the finale is woody along with a spicy caresses. A rich but tamed length waiting to soar, myriad noble tannins give a hint of raptures to come for this woody vintage with fruit flavours (blackcurrant, gooseberry, fig).
