2004 - Flora Springs Soliloquy (Limited Availability)	Product Code: FLOR2005002112 Price: Check Latest ***8 Bottles Remaining***The Vineyards Flora Springs planted their Crossroad Vineyard in the Oakville Appellation with Sauvignon Blanc, using the Sauvignon Musque clone in order to make the most unique flavors that they could. Although this area is noted for the production of great red grapes, they took the bold step of challenging this warm growing region with the very distinct white grape and are ecstatic with the result. The results of that planting, they have captured a special hint of gooseberry and herbal expression that are trademarks of the Sauvignon Blanc varietal. Winemaker Notes The 2004 Soliloquy is yet another example of the excellent fruit that Flora Springs gets from their Oakville vineyard. It is focused and lean with a clean fruit sensation on the palate, with flavors of melon, fig and just a hint of vanilla. The finish is smooth and long, with just a hint of tartness to give it that extra "zing" at the end. It is an incredibly well-balanced wine that is refreshing and complex at the same time.
