The 2002 Dry Creek Merlot is deep in color and intensity, this beautifully crafted Merlot is delicious in every way. Spicy, mocha-scented oak is immediately evident at first swirl of this wine along with currant and spice. Balanced and supple on the palate, ripe blackberry and plum provide a layered backdrop for what follows. This wine really sings with a long, broad and rich finish.
