***4 Bottles Remaining***The 2000 Delectus Beckstoffer Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has instant aromas of fresh cut jicama give way to less exotic plum and cassis. Bright on the palate, driven by black olive and dust, good length, solid tannin structure, and spicy aftertaste.
The Beckstoffer Vineyard, located in the heart of the Rutherford Bench, was first planted to vines in 1933 by the legendary Georges de Latour III. During the following decades it was the source for BV’s Reserves until it was purchased by the Beckstoffer family in 1988. The rich history and pedigree of this site continues as it produces rare lots of Cabernet Sauvignon for some of Napa Valley’s finest wineries, including Delectus.
