NV - Barnard Griffin Cabernet/Merlot	Product Code: BARNNV00001649 Price: Check Latest Sensory: Well, here is a Cab/Merlot blend that will knock your socks off! The nose is full ofraspberry fruit and toasted French oak aromas. The flavors are dominated by layered fruit andmoderate tannins. The wine is blended for mid-term enjoyment but could easily age for 5-10years. The component wines of this blend were aged in 60 gallon American and French barrels. Vineyards and Growing Season: Being that this is a Non-Vintage blend it is hard to give you the complete information on thegrowing seasons. Rest assured that a multi-year blend provides me the opportunity to develop thebest wine for the price. The current vineyard sources for our Cab/Merlot blend: Cabernet Sauvignon: Vintage 2002 Crawford Columbia Valley/Yakima Valley 55% Merlot: Vintage 2002 Caroway Columbia Valley/Yakima Valley 45% Winemaking: Pasteur Champagne yeast was used at a Max fermentation of 91o F Pump-overs 2 to 3 times daily until fermented to dryness Approximately 8,000 cases produced Malolactic positive Aged in both American and French oak barrels
