Reportedly this area has been getting quite a bit of acclaim from folks like Robert Parker and Wine Enthusiast has name them one of the top 100 wineries of the year. The merlot really stands out here. There’s an earthy, complex, very rich blackberry flavor and mild tannins, almost like a Right Bank wine, with added fruitiness from the cab. You could easily age this wine 5-8 years.
